Getting "On-the-Move" is a proven life-saver
Post 9/11, there are more than 4.2 Million military veterans that have served our nation.
1,700,000 (41%) have a disability as a result of their service, including psychological wounds, with 22 veterans commiting suicide every day.
(*data from va.gov and U.S. BLS)
Many injured, ill and disabled veterans do not know how to find or cannot afford the help they need, and are the most at-risk segment of the population.
Oscar Mike programs are intentionally designed by injured veterans who have chewed the same dirt, and our impact speaks for itself. No veteran in the Oscar Mike community has ever taken their own life.
A WORLD WITHOUT BARRIERS
A “clear path” for people living with disabilities. If we can accomplish a fraction of what we want to, the world will be a better place for so many deserving people.

To serve more people and raise the bar for accessibility
By Creating an Arsenal of Content
To increase awareness and help the disabled community learn how to adapt everything
By Expanding Adaptive Programs
To have the resources and facilities to never have to turn someone away
ESTABLISHED: Veterans Day 11/11/11

PROUDEST OF: Zero suicides of any Oscar Mike Veterans
An Underdog Story
When a group of injured veterans in wheelchairs with zero resources started Oscar Mike in a two-car garage, we had a simple goal of helping some of our friends attend adaptive sporting events.
We had no idea we were starting a movement that would change and save so many lives.
Veterans Day 2026, we'll celebrate 15 years of making an impact, and we're just getting started.
Some of things we do make our insurance agents sweat, but we don’t think being blind means you can’t jump an off-road vehicle.
We do things differently and that's why we're so effective.
Adaptive Clinics:Off-roading, flight training, equine therapy, skydiving, marksmanship, and physical training at the Oscar Mike Compound
Adaptive Expeditions:Camping, fly-fishing, hiking, and interpretive tours in Rocky Mountain National Park
Adaptive Team Sports:The Oscar Mike Militia is the only all-veteran wheelchair rugby team in the nation.
Obstacle Course Racing:Team Oscar Mike helps disabled veterans conquer the toughest obstacle courses all over the country.
Quadriplegic Marine Corps Veteran, Noah Currier
"After war, being paralyzed, and losing people I loved, I became extremely depressed and addicted to drugs and alcohol. I believed that my life was no longer worth living.
A friend talked me into trying an adaptive sport before I called it quits. Feeling fear, adrenaline, and excitement again was like I had been handed a key that unlocked a door to a future worth living. I want to share that key with as many other disabled veterans as possible and keep their lives On-the-Move."
