THE FIRST TIME WE MET GOOGLE
A senior executive/producer for Google called our offices and asked if Oscar Mike would be interested in being a feature brand for their world-wide “Grow-with-Google” campaign. After determining it was not an April Fools joke, we jumped on the opportunity.
THE NEXT THING YOU KNOW
Production crews swarmed us at HQ and cameras were following us around everywhere. Yep. Even the bathroom - I think it is safe to say we have new friends for life (thank goodness for editors).
In addition to making us stars of the screen, they have also generously provided hundreds of thousands of dollars for Google Ad Grants, lined up several speaking engagements for us and further supported our mission by purchasing lots of Oscar Mike American Made apparel.
THE FIRST TIME WE MET AMAZON
Amazon’s department of Military Affairs reached out to have us produce American made shirts for veteran employees who wanted to represent their status while at work. The design of using the iconic smile under the word “Military” was brilliant and well received.
THE NEXT THING YOU KNOW
Amazon has a dedicated store on our website filled with Military branded items. We handle all production and fulfillment ranging from individual purchases to large scale bulk orders. Amazon also provided a level of sponsorship which allowed injured veterans from across the country to attend and compete in the Army Trails for the annual DoD Warrior games. What an exciting way to start our new partnership with Amazon!
THE FIRST TIME WE MET ORANGE COUNTY CHOPPERS
We signed on to film an episode of American Chopper on the Discovery Channel featuring a bad-ass custom bike designed and built by Paul Sr and crew. The unveiling of the bike took place at our annual gala and it was an epic reveal, complete with burning rubber on the dance floor (thankfully the fire marshall didn’t see that part).
THE NEXT THING YOU KNOW
Oscar Mike became the official provider of American made apparel for OCC with thousands of shirts and hoodies being sold to bike fans, veteran supporters and even veteran bike fans supporters across the country. Shortly after the entire OCC executive team all got Oscar Mike tattoos. That is true commitment!
