    Harriet Tubman Tee

    Size Guide

They called her “Moses” for leading enslaved people to freedom. But Harriet Tubman fought the institution of slavery well beyond her role as conductor for the Underground Railroad. As a soldier and spy for the Union Army during the Civil War, Tubman led several groups of long range scouts, feeding key terrain intel to union generals. In the post-war era Harriet Tubman was an active participant in the struggle for woman's suffrage.

She died a century ago with full military honors surrounded by loved ones at approximately 91 years of age. Her tombstone reads: “There was one of two things I had a right to: liberty and death. If I could not have one, I would have the other.”

She loved freedom. And we love freedom. It's really that simple.
