We didn’t plan to start a fight.

But when you try to build something powerful for injured veterans, and people start saying it’s not welcome—
you fight.

Oscar Mike brought plans for a game-changing campus for disabled veterans to the town board:
A place built by and for injured veterans.
A place for recovery, community, and purpose.
We were told the approval process would be smooth.

“Who would protest disabled veterans trying to help other disabled veterans?”

Turns out, some people did.

They sent letters.
They showed up to town hall meetings.
They said having us as neighbors would lowers their property values.
They called veterans unstable and accident prone.

One person said:

“I support veterans. Just not in my backyard.”

 So yeah—we started a fight.

And we’re building a team to finish it.

We’ve got something big coming soon on Monday, May 19th.
Something bold, gritty, and unapologetic.
